Tea tree oil is quite the magical tool. It comes from the Melaleuca alternifolia plant found in Australia. It is a multipurpose oil that has many benefits, and for simplicity’s sake, we’re going to just list some of the benefits with a short description of each down below:
These are just a few of the benefits that I focused on today, but tea tree oil has been researched for many years and there are reasons to believe that tea tree oil can also help with ear infections, it can be used as an all-purpose cleaner, it can help relieve respiratory tract infections, and so, SO much more!
Thank you for coming by and checking out this blog post! I hope you were able to learn something new, and as always, I’m not a medical professional, but I believe in the importance of educating ourselves to find alternatives to toxic chemicals.

The hype about turmeric has not gone down, and with good reason.
Turmeric is an ancient herb that originated from India and was used as a natural dye, a spice for food, in special ceremonies, etc. Recently, probably within the past year, turmeric has reached a peak in its popularity for being a natural medicine in treating arthritis, dementia, Alzheimer’s, cancer, and many other ailments/symptoms.
In this post, I’ll list a few of the benefits that turmeric has as well as some additional information to help you get to know turmeric a bit more.

My skin with #nomakeup + #nofilter + flash 😳 My skin is not perfect. I obviously have some red spots, discoloration, and SUPER DRY skin. However, I’ve been loving this exfoliator because it’s been so helpful in cleaning off the dry, dead skin cells, plus of course #crueltyfree & #vegan . Since it’s colder out here in #NYC , Ive had to exfoliate less (from 5 days a week to about 2-3), so I might use it in combination with a gentler exfoliator to continue to exfoliate every day bc that’s what I think helps my skin the most (this one is pretty coarse/rough). I still love it though, it’s definitely kept my skin matte and clear overall.
8/10 – recommended for people with dry/combination skin like me!
