Sunset Bagels in Brooklyn, NY! So many delicious vegan options!

So my husband and I have recently discovered this place, and it has been our go-to for random lunches and snacking (because we love snacks).

These are actually some of the best bagels we’ve had and they have a lot of vegan options as well. If you’re in NYC we definitely recommend going to this place for awesome food. I’ve also had their veggie supreme burger (without cheese) with their waffle fries and it was absolutely delicious and filling. They also deliver via seamless ! The only negative is that they are very slow in terms of giving you your food after you order. I usually have to wait like 10 minutes or more until I get my 2 bagels. To me, it’s not a big deal and it’s definitely worth it!

Strawberry and Banana Smoothie Bowl/ Nice Cream

Trying to perfect my banana smoothie bowl. This is banana and strawberry blended with almond milk. Topped with frozen mango, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, and 2 peanut butter oat energy balls !

I can include my recipe for peanut butter oat energy balls on my page in the future and make it a separate post 🙂

PB and Cacao Oatmeal

cacao oatmeal1

Made with Rolled Oats, Almond Milk, 100% Cacao, Peanut Butter, and topped with Cacao Nibs, Honey, and Hemp seeds!

-almond milk, peanut butter, cacao nibs, and cacao were unsweetened.

Oatmeal is one of the best go-to breakfast ideas IMO. It has definitely helped with my weight management since it keeps me full for half the day. And there’s so many different ways to make it.

Benefits of eating Oats:

  1. They keep your heart happy and healthy.
  2. Keep your blood pressure low (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition)
  3. High in nutrients and fiber.
  4. Etc.

The reason the health benefits information above is so vague is because I’m planning on making a whole separate section for foods and their specifics (nutrients, calories, what diseases it helps with, etc), and where I got my information from. So just stay tuned 🙂
